The Database Systems Administrator is responsible for planning, evaluating, acquiring, developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting data management and software processes, methods, and tools. You will provide technical leadership for the enterprise's clinical infrastructures used for clinical care improvement and patient safety; install, test, maintain, document, and provide technical support for application, system, storage, and database software on enterprise servers and workstations; perform software evaluation and testing on new and existing applications; and develop and manage the process for individuals to submit and track issues experienced after hours.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; MBA a plus
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Database administration experience on multiple OS platforms using DB Management systems
- Experience in data analysis and report writing/presentation
- Ability to train end users on all aspects of the system
