House Supervisor (RN) Position Summary House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for direction of patient care in the behavioral health care setting. Achieves cooperation, teamwork and high morale between departments and staff by maintaining a positive, attentive and interactive manner. Responds to staff, visitors, patients and physician's question in a timely manner. Consults with staff, physicians, administration and Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure patient needs are met. House Supervisor (RN) intervenes in conflict situations while showing support, trust and respect to all concerned while maintaining confidentiality 100% of the time. Provides nursing leadership and care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory testing, treatment plans and therapeutic treatments. Knowledgeable of a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral. Performs crisis intervention. Maintains performance improvement activities within the development and participates in CQI activities. Maintains costs and appropriate staffing ratios. Completes employee health screenings upon hire and annually. House Supervisor (RN) schedule is three shifts per week 8:00pm - 8:00am to include weekends. This is a salaried; exempt position.
