About Cumberland Hall Hospital: Cumberland Hall Hospital, is a 97-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital, which provides the highest quality psychiatric care to children, adolescents and adults impacted by substance use and/or mental health issues. Patient safety and confidentiality in treatment are top priorities. The Clinician/Therapist is responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical duties with inpatient populations. These include, but are not limited to, group, individual, and family treatment modalities. They are responsible for performing thorough and accurate psychosocial evaluations, developing and implementing master treatment plans, and providing for appropriate discharge planning/aftercare referrals. The Clinician/Therapist demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with both clients and staff. They demonstrate the ability to prioritize the multiple demands of the position and are able to accurately follow instructions. They understand the documentation requirements and complete these requirements in a timely fashion. Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position. Must possess knowledge of developmental stages of children, adolescents and adults, and the social, cultural, environmental influences on both patient and family member. Is responsible for their own clinical growth through the attendance of in-services, presentations, and other continuing education activities.
