The Division of Pharmacy Practice of the School of Pharmacy seeks to fill a 12-month position for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice with an emphasis in Community Practice.
Duquesne University's School of Pharmacy opened in 1925 with an enrollment of just 50 students in a few rooms of Canevin Hall. Today, the School of Pharmacy enrolls more than 1,000 students in its six-year Pharm.D. program, nearly 130 in its weekend program, 10 post-Pharm.D. fellows and residents, and 65 M.S. and Ph.D. students. Nearly 100 percent of Duquesne student pharmacists have gained immediate placement in employment and advanced studies for more than two decades and have been given preferred status by pharmacy employers.
The School's facilities now include Bayer Learning Hall (including state-of-the-art facilities that promote active learning), an entire floor of Richard King Mellon Hall, and a modern pharmaceutical technology and management laboratory, as well as two locations off of the main campus.
