The Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst supports the IPM CBO by providing daily and ad-hoc report extracts and analysis of data pertinent to identifying gaps in process that negatively impact revenue and the overall cost of doing business.Â Handles all routine and ad-hoc report requests from IPM CBO Leadership in an efficient and accurate manner.Â Provides analysis regarding charges, collections and coding by provider, IPM Market and summary IPM data to help identify trends and research issues related to coding, reimbursement, billing, contracting and overall process.Â The Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst is responsible for taking large sets of often complex data and summarizing the information to draw meaningful business conclusions that help CBO Leadership identify areas for improvement. Â Collaborate with CBO Leadership in the development of dashboards to provide daily/weekly/monthly snapshots of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each CBO Department. Â Analyzes clinical information derived from the EMR(s) to assist with identifying gaps in workflow.Â Helps to manage the process of requested PMS system enhancements and â€œfixesâ€� to ensure that system issues are being investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
Extracts data from pertinent systems based on various business needs and formatting the data in a meaningful and useful format, ensuring that data is credible and reflective of the specific request.
Summarizes data in terms of context to help arrive at meaningful conclusions based on the data presented.Â When the data in inconclusive, researches alternate opportunities to look at additional data to help substantiate current results and to isolate opportunities for improvement
Analyzes data from multiple sources and outline conclusions and recommendations for changes in process or opportunities to improve performance in terms of revenue cycle or operational tasks.Â Â
Handles assigned revenue cycle reports that are produced and trended on a periodic basis that helps CBO Leadership maintain a pulse on the current state of CBO operations. Summarize data as needed to provide context to the results.
Analyzes fee requests, WRVU updates, fee schedule updates, as well as other assigned components of system maintenance.Â
Collaborates with CBO Leadership to develop dashboards that provide daily/weekly/monthly snapshots of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each CBO Department to ensure timely action can be taken (mitigate issues, reallocate resources)
Tracks, trends and monitors requested â€œfixesâ€� to the existing EMR/PMS software.Â Escalates issues, as appropriate, when items are not resolved in a reasonable timeframe
