HANYS is seeking a Quality Management leader to support improvement activities at the state and hospital level through program development and dissemination; and coordination of field project manager coaches. This is an excellent opportunity to be a change agent improving patient safety in all types of hospital environments.
The Associate Director will work closely with the Senior Director to ensure the overall effectiveness of all the NYS Partnership for Patients (PFP) program including:
- Staff orientation, ongoing growth and development, competence, and the ability to achieve positive outcomes at the statewide and hospital level
- Reliable effective and efficient systems for events, tools and materials, communication, and data management and analysis
- Innovative and targeted change packages
- Impactful member support through coaching, education, resources, site visits, and other tools to assist with sustainable change and improvements at the hospital level
This newly created position supports the NYS Partnership for Patients (PfP) program, a federal contract. The PfP is a public-private partnership that offers programs, education and technical assistance to NYS hospitals to make patient care safer. This is the organization’s fourth consecutive contract and is anticipated to last another three years.
