Gallipolis lies 40 miles upriver from Huntington, West Virginia, 58 miles northwest of Charleston, West Virginia, 50 miles west of Marietta, 109 miles southeast of Columbus, and 156 miles east of Cincinnati, and,being centrally located on the East Coast, major cities are just a drive away.
The Huntington VA Medical Center is seeking aPrimary Care Physician for ourCommunity Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Gallipolis, Ohio. This opportunity allows you to provide medical services to Veterans in an outpatient primary care setting. Disease processes include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mental health disorders, etc., with a major focus on preventive medicine. This CBOC utilizes the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) approach in the delivery of care, which emphasizes a team-based approach to healthcare. Monday Friday, 8:00 A.M. 4:30pm.
Requirements: U.S. Citizen
Board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine/Family Practice
Unrestricted MD.DO license (practice with any current and unrestricted state license).
