The Department of Radiation Oncology is recruiting for a full-time board certified / board eligible Sr. Staff Physician located in Temple, TX. The eligible person is a Radiation Oncologist with an interest in patient care, teaching, and research. The position will be appointed as academic faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with the Texas A&M University, depending on experience and publications.
The Department has expanded rapidly in the last few years to include, in addition to the main campus, six community satellite facilities across the greater Northern and Central Texas Region. The Department offers treatment modalities including IMRT / IGRT / SRS / SBRT and HDR / LDR Brachytherapy, and treats over 2,500 new patients annually. The Department features a fully-accredited four-year Radiation Oncology residency training program (ACGME accredited), and a two-year residency Medical Physics training program (CAMPEP accredited).

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of related scholarly accomplishments, passion for interdisciplinary collaboration, passion for teaching and the development of and participation in clinical trials and other leadership opportunities as may be available from time to time.
