The Department of Public Health at Des Moines University invites applicants for two 12-month, tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor positions. The Department of Public Health at DMU offers a CAHME-accredited MHA degree geared toward early to mid-careerists. The successful candidates shall have teaching experience in a health related environment and experience in academic public health or health administration programs is highly desirable. Must be familiar with innovative teaching methodologies, including online and face-to-face teaching, and effective student evaluation methods. This position will have a 40% time allocation for teaching (typically four 3-credit hour courses per year). Candidates with expertise in health informatics, leadership, Organizational behavior, human resource management, or strategic management are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have a track record of scholarly peer-reviewed publications, and a history of, or potential for extramural funding. The successful candidate will have an established research agenda with a promising research trajectory. Area of research emphasis is open. This position includes a 40% time allocation for research activities.
