As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist you are responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services for Oncologic, Hematologic, and Immunologic conditions primarily in the ambulatory setting while managing bone marrow transplant patients throughout the continuum (inpatient and outpatient). As a pharmacist you will provide extensive, direct pharmaceutical care in collaboration with providers in Cancer Service Line, participate in drug therapy consults, clinical research protocols, and provides patient/family/staff/physician education, and precepts pharmacy residents and students. To ensure comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in support of the continuum of care, regulatory standard compliance and patient care quality this pharmacist will also participate in development of guidelines, order sets, perform medication use evaluations and represent the department on applicable committees and teams relative to their specialty.
