Requires 10 years medical insurance claims billing experience preferably in an outpatient setting
Knowledge of all aspects of electronic claims processing to settlement of the accounts, all statutory regulations for compliance including Medicare/CMS, insurance plans, and HIPAA.
At least three years of director management experience preferred.
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
Must have good leadership skills including interviewing, team building, staffing and planning.
Must be able to continue to move the department towards full automation.
Proven ability to improve process efficiencies and solve problems.
Manage work flow to ensure all targets are being met.
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 and accounting background helpful.
Strong Excel skills including pivot table development required.
Knowledge of Access and Monarch a plus.
