The Public Health Program at Santa Clara University is seeking applicants for a Lecturer position focused on teaching public health courses, including (but not limited to) an introductory course in public health, and advanced undergraduate courses in epidemiology and evidence-based public health. The Public Health program is focused on undergraduate education.
The selected candidate will be required to teach the equivalent of seven quarter-long courses during the academic year.
The position is for a three-year term and is renewable. Reappointment is contingent upon superior performance in teaching, service, and professional activity, as well as persistent programmatic need, and availability of funds.
Successful candidate will have a strong commitment to, and exemplary record of, undergraduate teaching (including curriculum development and advising), will engage in professional activity that contributes to their primary responsibility for teaching, and will engage in service to the department, College, and University as appropriate to rank.
