A Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained primary care provider is sought for a VA clinic inRice Lake/Hayward, Wisconsin. The Clinicsare open Monday through Friday and closed on all federal holidays. There are no weekend duties and no call. Take time with your patients. Visits for established patients are 30 minutes and for new patients 60 minutes. Our facilities include an updated fully-equipped medical clinic with a lab, x- ray and telemedicine capabilities. Our physicians serve the primary care health needs of Rice Lake/Hayward and rural areas using a team approach with nursing and onsite clinical pharmacist. Physical Therapy and Mental Health services within the clinic help to provide comprehensive care to the Veterans served in this VA Community Clinic.

- Citizenship of the United States. Noncitizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with Department of Veterans Affairs policy.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of a first-year residency, or its equivalent, approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which it was completed.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
