Maine Medical Partners is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join their Neurology Department as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist. The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible and has previous END experience. In the case of new graduates from an accredited program, END training will be provided.
This position is based at Maine Medical Partners’ offices in Scarborough, Maine. It is a full time, Monday-Friday, day-shift position. The EEG Technologist is responsible for the collection of EEG data, Evoked Potentials as well as the facilitation of patient care within a laboratory setting. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent of two years of college.
- Some experience preferred.
- Knowledge of EEG technology, principles and methods.
- Skill in using EEG equipment in line with safety, infection control and quality assurance protocols.
- Skill in demonstrating customer service philosophy through effective patient education.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient computer skills.
