Cedar Hills Hospital - located just 15 minutes from downtown Portland - is an 89-bed, free-standing psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. The Mental Health Technician observes, escorts, and monitors patients; reports observations to the Registered Nurse; provides basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse; assists patients with activities of daily living; assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure, and clean environment; and engages patients in positive role models recovery oriented behaviors.
