The Center for Mississippi Health Policy is seeking to hire for the position of Senior Policy Analyst. The Center for Mississippi Health Policy is an independent non-profit organization located in Jackson, Mississippi, that conducts research on health policy issues impacting Mississippi. The Senior Policy Analyst position requires an individual with knowledge of health policy issues, strong analytic and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with researchers, state officials, and policymakers. The incumbent identifies, designs, and conducts research projects related to health policy issues in Mississippi, actively conducting research, as well as preparing and presenting reports and analyses. This is a senior-level position that carries leadership responsibilities for conceptualizing projects, cultivating funding sources, developing and directing significant policy projects, and disseminating findings. Candidates should have the ability to collect, analyze, verify, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, employing a variety of research and advanced statistical techniques, program evaluation methods, and other skills as appropriate to ensure statistical validity and scientific integrity.
