Provide direct practice in the areas of group work, consumer education, treatment planning and individual counseling as needed. Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, performing intakes, assessments, initiating treatment interventions and crisis intervention. Perform clinical case management and treatment planning with consumers that experience psychiatric disorders and substance abuse disorders. All clinical documentation is completed with compliance in the requirements set by the NJ Division of Mental Health Services and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Participates in staff training and continuing education. Takes an active role in Performance Improvement projects at EISS and MMC. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc. Job Qualifications: BA/BS Degree. Three to five years clinical experience with the dual diagnosed target client population; Skills Training, Crisis Intervention, Group work, Individual and Family counseling skills are imperative. Partial Hospital Program experience is also recommended.
