Delray Medical Center is a state-designated Level I Trauma Center for Palm Beach County in Southern Florida. The Administrative Director of Trauma Services, in collaboration with the Medical Director, manages the Trauma Program (adult/pediatric) for administrative and clinical aspects to include organizing, developing, directing, and assuring the delivery of cost-effective quality patient care.
Additionally, has accountability for the Trauma inpatient units. Responsible for the administrative and clinical aspects of Patient Care Services to include organizing, developing, directing and assuring the deliverance of cost effective, quality patient care. Ensures that patient care on clinical units is performed in accordance with established Hospital, State licensing, The Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory agency policies, procedures and standards
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required.
Masters Degree preferred in Nursing, Education, Management or related field, or demonstrated equivalent competencies. Nationally certified in area of specialty preferred.
Clinical and administrative practice.
Five (5) years experience in Emergency/Trauma Care Environment. Working knowledge of Quality Improvement process and JCAHO standards.
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. TNCC, ACLS, PALS.
Five (5) years managerial experience.
