Post-Doctoral / Research Training in Smoking Cessation Research

This postdoctoral training opportunity prepares post-doctoral Research Associates or Fellows for research careers focused on health behavior and/or substance abuse. A postdoctoral position is available at the Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention (CTRI) in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since 1992, CTRI (www.ctri.wisc.edu) has been a leading center for smoking cessation research and a hub for dissemination. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field. Experience in health, behavioral health, or substance abuse research is strongly preferred. Candidates will be expected to write manuscripts, contribute to grant proposals, and present data in national or international meetings. Extensive mentorship is available for these activities to help prepare Postdoctoral Research Associates or Fellows for independent research careers. Start and end dates are flexible.
