The Pediatric GI Manager is a leadership role that has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinical area(s). Their responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. Provides feedback, coaching and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the health care team.
We are seeking candidates with excellent collaboration & relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills who ideally has experience with Business/Operations within the Health Care industry (Budgets, Process Improvement, strategic planning, customer service, managing and developing people).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies for the PCC, Hospitals and Vanderbilt Clinic.
- Prepares annual operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data.
- Develops and monitors the implementation of area specific quality plan linked to organizational goals.

Position Qualifications:
Required :
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) (Required)
- 3 years of experience (Required)
Preferred :
- MBA/MHA
- Previous healthcare industry and leadership experience

Department/Unit Summary:
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is the only Comprehensive Regional referral center dedicated to caring for neonatal to pediatric patients in Middle TN. Our family centered care approach to care for children is continuing to grow throughout the region and is expanding to a community near you. Our mission is to care for children and their families in their community with excellent quality and great customer service that they would receive at our main campus. As the middle TN region has continued to grow, we are growing with them. MCJCHV's most recent clinic facility in Rutherford County will bring comprehensive surgical services to the region with surgical and radiology capabilities as well. Our goal is to hire great professionals who share our mission for the community
Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition
The Peds GI practice currently sees patients at 8 locations. We have 19 MDs, 4 NPs, and 6 Fellows.
The support staff is comprised of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Surgery Schedulers, and Access Specialists.
