Job Title: System Configuration Analyst - Benefits Location: Danville, PA Department: Customer Service Support Geisinger Health Plan Work Type: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight in the Facets system related to Benefits, Finance, Pricing and Workflow Configuration. Requires a blended background of insurance plan experience, coding, billing and claims processing experience and technical proficiency. In order to become completely functional as a Systems Analyst, this position requires one year on the job training.
Reports directly to the System Configuration Manager responsible for Benefit, Finance, Pricing and Workflow System Configuration. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to independently problem solve and follow through on issues to resolution.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field. Previous Facets product experience or a minimum of two years Health Plan experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to other Health Plan offices may be required.
