The CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).
This role is in our Flexible Workforce Southeast (SE) Region. The region consists of Woodwinds Hospital, Ridges Hospital, University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank. 0.01 FTE Day/Evening/Night

In this role, the technologist will provide services to patients and physicians though the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment and for coordinating team work with all members of the health care team.
Requires access to reliable transportation to be present at locations throughout the SE Region.
Travels to and provides care in multiple settings as assigned
Demonstrates personal flexibility to meet staffing and patient needs
Manages unanticipated changes throughout the day
Demonstrates ability to provide care with a variety of clinical populations
Completes assigned duties prior to transition to subsequent setting and/or establishes handoff for continuity of care
Adaptable in responding to demands of multiple processes and supervisor
Technical Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Radiology
Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Basic Life Support
1 or more years of experience in a related role
Additional certifications in Imaging
ARRTCT certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire.
