DEVELOPMENTAL-BEHAVIORAL PEDIATRICIAN Opening in Southern California This is a unique opportunity to practice in a new, state-of-the-art facility within our Pasadena MOB (anticipated opening Summer 2021) which is a major hub for primary care, behavioral health and urgent care. The learning and development center will house our developmental pediatrics program, psychology, and school clinics which are expected to work in a multi-disciplinary fashion with other medical specialties. The Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) is the primary tertiary facility within the Kaiser Permanente Pediatric Care Network (roughly 1 million children) and affords the opportunity to treat a diverse population. LAMC houses many of SCPMG's California Children Services Specialty Care Programs – high risk infant, hematology-oncology, cystic fibrosis, metabolic and others. While the LAMC will support 2 fellowship-trained DBP MDs to run our program, applicants will be joining a group of 21 regionally, with opportunities for regional collaboration. This is an ideal practice for anyone who is interested in a community-based practice with academic opportunities that include mentorship of pediatric residents and medical students affiliated with the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine (KPSOM). Academic appointments are available through the KPSOM located in Pasadena.
