| The Sterile Processing Tech II performs a variety of services involved in the cleaning, sterilization, processing, organizing, and distribution of patient equipment, instruments, supplies, and products used in the care and treatment of patients. The Sterile Processing Tech II inventories, restocks and distributes instruments, reusable medical equipment and medical supplies. The Sterile Processing Tech II orders patient care equipment, inventories assigned supply areas for replenishment, rotates stock appropriately and stocks general & surgical carts. The Sterile Processing Tech II ensures compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer, and/or infection control practices. The ideal candidate for The Sterile Processing Tech II is someone who is able to maintain effective communication with patients, staff and physicians, follow appropriate protocols and procedures; and provide great customer satisfaction.
