Our heart and vascular team takes an evidence-based practice approach to diagnosing and treating a wide variety of conditions, including: arrhythmia and heart rhythm disorders, Afib, congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart attack, heart failure and vascular and arterial disease.  Our RNs work in tandem with our physicians to provide care that is truly tailored to our patients’ needs.  We’ve earned a number of data-backed awards for heart care thanks to our high standards of performance.  We are active and award-winning members of a number of American College of Cardiology registries, which helps us improve patient outcomes and lower the cost of care.  We are proud to be:

Our Electrophysiology (EP) lab is one of the newest labs in Boulder County and the second EP lab in the north metropolitan area.  Our lab allows us to offer the most advanced treatments for Afib and other heart rhythm disorders.  Our lab includes the newest technology, such as:

• A robotic x-ray system
• Latest 3D mapping technology
• Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional treatments

Your day.

As a Cath Lab RN you need to know how to:

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval), required (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service)
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience in a Cath Lab, Emergency Department, or ICU setting, highly preferred
