Work Hours/Shift: Full Time, Monday- Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 5-10 hours of overtime at night each week You Will Be Responsible For: Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages Assist in operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems. Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs all HVAC mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under general supervision Responds to in-house Work Orders and PMâ™s on daily basis, and in a timely manner Under general supervision may be required to respond to emergency calls May be required to take call in accordance with facility in a timely manner Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Maintains record ensuring compliance with TJC, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards. Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications What You Will Need: Ability to identify equipment needs, parts and supplies, and maintain adequate inventory Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English Must have the ability to document records neatly and accurately Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment Basic Microsoft office computer skills High School Education or GED Two years of maintenance experience - Three years of healthcare maintenance (preferred)
