Under direction, to plan, direct, coordinate, evaluate and manage STD/HIV services and groups of multi-disciplinary professional and paraprofessional staff providing health care services within the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department in San Jose, California. Positions in this series have overall managerial responsibility for the operational management of assigned services, programs, nursing activities and professional and paraprofessional personnel in a distinct Program in the Public Health Department.

The STD/HIV Prevention & Control Program of the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department in San Jose, California is recruiting applicants for a Public Health Nurse Manager I to lead our Client Services Team.  This multidisciplinary team serves vital roles in disease investigation, contact tracing, short-term case management, and STD testing at our Crane Center. The PHN Manager I will also collaborate as a member of the Program’s leadership group to advise all aspects of our prevention strategies.
