Job Summary

The RCP provides services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by Physicians. Tasks include basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, ventilator management, and pulmonary testing. Maintains department appearance, documents in the education sheet and multidisciplinary care plan as appropriate, distributes charting sheets when appropriate and assists with data collection for process improvement monitoring and reporting.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Current RCP license with the state of California
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience
• Current BLS card
• ACLS card within 90 days of hire
• PALS card within 90 days of hire
• NRP card within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered or Registry Eligible with the National Board for Respiratory Care
