Clinical Psychologist (Eating Disorder / Mental Health Clinic)
The Staff Psychologist is assigned to the Austin, TX VA Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (MHC) Eating Disorder and Nutrition Care Team 100% of the time. The Eating Disorder Team psychologist is a member of an interdisciplinary team and provides evidence-based individual, couples, and group psychotherapy to veterans with eating disorders and body image concerns (e.g., acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy). As a Licensed Provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will practice independently in the provision of psychological services, engage in professional and scientific work which relates to behavior, capacities, personality, interests, emotions and mental disorders, consulting with peers and supervisors as appropriate.
