Assistant Professor in prevention science applied to child well-being
The University of South Carolina invites applications for an assistant professor tenure-track position in prevention science applied to child well-being in the Exercise Science Department (Arnold School of Public Health). Candidates are sought who have a strong research interest and focus on integrated prevention of unhealthy lifestyle and social-emotional problems in children ages 2-10. Of relevance are preventive interventions at the child, family, classroom/school, or community level to impact for example aggressive behavior, dietary intake, emotional adjustment, physical activity, screen time, sedentary behavior, self-regulation, or sleep, considering significant contextual factors such as health disparities.
