Under general supervision, leads the design, development, resourcing (funding), and management of the Center for Addiction Medicine (CAM). CAM is an administrative body that aims to coordinate the essential health services of persons with substance use disorder. Non-clinical role that bolsters and connects clinical treatment services across Denver Health and within the community. Strategically elevates the content area within the department, Denver Health, and the broader community. Provides direction and oversight, including supervision of assigned staff and grants management (both fiscal and programmatic). Ensures work adheres to policies and procedures and funding requirements. Collaborates with leaders within and across content areas within Denver Health and at the local, state and national level to achieve program, division, department and enterprise (DHHA) goals and identifies opportunities for alignment. Needs to have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Computers and Technology:
Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Knowledge and ability to use SmartSheets.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Master’s in Public Health, Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field strongly preferred.
Four years of progressive experience developing, implementing, and evaluating health projects, community development required. Experience with public health promotion including strategic planning, budget management, policy analysis, and environmental and organizational systems change.
Experience in group facilitation, quality improvement, and project management.
