LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - CAMDEN CBOC - NTE 2 YEARS
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs all duties within the scope of his/her license including medication administration. Completed work is under the general supervision of Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor. The incumbent is technically proficient in initiating, performing and completing assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations. Completed work requires only a general review by a RN or MD for appropriateness and conformity with established policies and procedures. Duties And Or Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To The Following: Works with the RN and/or MD/DO to appropriately orient/train less experienced LPN/LNs, Nursing Assistants and Health Technicians in relation to acceptable standards of practice in promoting optimal patient care delivery.
