Pharmacy Technician III - Home Infusion
Overview Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II Home Infusion is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in a complex Home infusion pharmacy. This will include compounding medications using sterile aseptic technique, running total parenteral nutrition, maintaining the ISO 7 buffer room, abiding by USP 797 regulations, and inventory management. Upon completion of training, technicians will be able to compound hazardous drugs in a negative pressure room. Technicians will be competent in the Materials and Staging areas.
