Analyzes records for completion by physicians to ensure compliance with Medical Staff Rules & Regulations and JCAHO standards. Assigns physician completion responsibilities. Enters initial data in Chart Control System & updates system following completion of medical records by physician. Performs transcription duties when there is no coverage in that area. Performs release of information duties when appropriate ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and MA. Laws. Explains completion requirements to physicians and trains and assists them with Electronic Signature Application and Dragon Medical One (DMO). Ensures receipt of all appropriate outpatient/inpatient visits.

High School education or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical terminology highly desirable.
Basic Computer skills
Able to read, write and speak English
