Health Technician (Urology)
The Urology Health Technician will assist and support the members of the Urology Section of the VANHCS in their work in both outpatient and inpatient settings. As an integral member of the Urology team, consisting of urologic surgeons, urology residents, physician assistant, medical students, supporting urology health technician and section secretary. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of all elements necessary for the successful completion of scheduled urologic procedures. Selection and preparation of urologic equipment required for planned procedures on a daily basis with maintenance of procedure room.
