**Important Information** If interested in applying for this position, you must go to www.careers.dc.gov and search for Chief Medical Officer or job ID # 15555.  Job Summary This position is in the Department of Health (DC Health), HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB Administration (HAHSTA), to serve as the Chief Medical Officer/Deputy Director for Policy and Programs.  The mission of HAHSTA is to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD’s and TB, reduce transmission of the diseases through prevention, and provide comprehensive care and treatment to persons with the diseases, so that District residents can live healthier lives.  HAHSTA administers the District’s budget for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD’s and TB program
