The Registered Nurse (RN) Care Coordinator for nuclear medicine uses the nursing process and evidence-based practice to collaborate within the Team (Patient, Primary Care Provider, LVN or Health Technician, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and Medical Support Administrator) and larger team (family/caregiver, internal, and community-based services involved in providing care to the patient) that promotes execution of the patient-driven holistic care plan.
