Infection Prevention Manager
A BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Develops, coordinates, implements, maintains and supervises an infection control program to prevent and/or control infection among patients and employees and to comply with requirements of regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital, Centers for Disease Control, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Department of Public Health. Aligns department goals and tactics with hospital and strategic goals under the direction of the Quality and Patient Safety Director. Manages the day to day operations for the Infection Prevention and Infection control program. Provides education to medical staff, employees, and community members. JOB REQUIREMENTS
