SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing constant observation and monitoring of assigned patient(s) to ensure their safety and prevention of injury. This includes assisting with basic care to assure patient's comfort under the direct supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School education or equivalent knowledge required.
Must have tact, good judgment and patience in dealing with those who are ill.
Previous training and/or experience in basic health care preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Able to sitting constantly; stand and walk occasionally.
Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; Lift 11-35 lbs occasionally.
Able to push/pull 0-35 lbs occasionally.
Able to reach occasionally.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
