Laboratory Assistant PRN Days Position Summary Collects blood from patients as required; checks quality of blood/specimens; assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of the patient following established standards and practices. Responsible for specified computer operations, clerical functions and department maintenance. Registers referred outpatient requisitions following registration guidelines. Maintains specimens, reports and slides following established criteria. Performs waived testing and procedures under the oversight of the technical staff.
