Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Clinical Laboratory Scientists I & II who perform a wide variety of analytic laboratory procedures and learn applicable laboratory policies and processes in the areas of Chemistry, Serology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank and Microbiology. Duties include specimen evaluation and awareness of pre-analytic processes; instrument maintenance; performance of quality control; accurate, and efficient analysis of patient results using standardized routine and specialized procedures to determine the presence or absence of abnormal results; evaluation of patient data for accuracy and proper reporting of critical results to appropriate healthcare practitioners; appropriate troubleshooting and follow up for aberrant or questionable results; accurate documentation and communication with superiors and other appropriate staff for non-routine occurrences; and to perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of blood, urine, and other body fluids; and preparing stains, medias, and reagents for cultures.
