Summary

The Paramedic is a licensed paramedic who assists in patient care under the direction of the RN and within the scope of his/her practice. Paramedic helps maintain a safe and clean environment and assists with secretarial duties and stocking as needed.

Education

Required: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic training course.

Experience

Required: Paramedic experience
Preferred: experience in an emergency room

Certifications

• FL PARAMEDIC, BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
• ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) CPI (WITHIN 30 DAYS)
• PALS by 12/31/2019 INEXPERIENCED:WITHIN 180 DAYS OF HIRE OR TRANSFER

Candidates within the unit have priority by unit seniority.
