Atlantic Health System is seeking Full Time Medical Office Associate I in Cedar Knolls location for Medical Institute of NJ.
The Medical Office Associate I will manage phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, enter demographic & patient information, verify insurance coverage, accurately complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system, process precerts/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases, and other duties typical of a physician practice.
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
Computer literacy essential
Working knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR system desired
Strong customer service skills a must
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physicians schedules
