Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Part-time Radiological Technologist at Newton Medical Center. Shift hours vary including every other Saturday.
Performs x-ray exams and fluoro/OR exams within the hospital setting for ER
Inpatient and Outpatient studies
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area
Notifies Clinical Engineering of equipment malfunctions and maintains working area in safe patient manner at all times according to Joint Commission standards
Maintains and follows departmental protocols
Maintains composure and is able to prioritize cases during high volume periods within an emergency room setting
Can use critical thinking skills to make appropriate decisions based on clinical skills
Works well within a team setting and uses clear, concise communication to be part of a dedicated and compassionate care team
Dedicated to delivering safe, quality, imaging at all times and follows the Image Gently principles and principles of a Highly Reliable Organization
Must be a graduate of AMA certified radiography program
Must hold a NJ License
Must be ARRT registered
Must have a valid CPR certification
1 year experience required in radiography
Must be a team player and able to multitask
Must exemplify professionalism and compassion while ensuring patient safety and the delivery of quality imaging services
Effective communication skills with physicians, coworkers, supervisors, etc required
