Your day.

The Director of Radiology manages St. Vincent Healthcare (SVH) inpatient, ED, and outpatient Radiologic services which includes oversight of human resource management, customer service, quality management, process transformation and partnering with our Eastern Radiological Associates Radiologist by building a collaborative relationship to provide the best care for our patients, along with creating organizational effectiveness.  

As the Radiology Director you need to know how to:

• Act as a liaison between physicians and SVH staff and administration


• Provide oversight for all radiology services including the School of Radiology and imaging services in SVMG (St. Vincent Medical Group.)


• Support, provide, clarify, and ensure adherence to SVH, and departmental direction and policies and incorporate the department within the strategic goals of St Vincent.


• Effectively direct his/her group through change management processes and facilitate group to achieve desired results reflecting the group's ideas and input


• Maintain financial accountability for departments; function within established budget.


• Effectively use financial information for strategic and operational decision making and participate in the preparation of annual budgets for capital equipment, personnel, supplies, and other departmental costs.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Current MT Radiologic Technologist licensure.


• Bachelorâ™s degree in Business, Management, Radiology or Clinical Science preferred.


• Minimum of five yearsâ™ experience working in Radiology.


• Minimum of three yearsâ™ experience in a leadership position with demonstrated success in leading radiology quality/performance improvement initiatives.
