The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Liaison formulates strategy to acquire highly skilled international talent to fill requisitions. The Clinical Liaison assesses and interviews for clinical skills competency and selects candidates to move through the candidate process. Collaborates with hiring managers and selects the top candidates for further on-site visits at the facility level. Makes recommendations for offers based on individual clinical assessments. Maintains excellent candidate and hiring manager relations. Generates reports of activities. Is held accountable to service level agreements.

- Assess candidate clinical skills and remediation necessary to meet U.S. nursing standards.
- Collaborate with International Clinical Educator and hiring managers to proactively address clinical developmental areas for the international pipeline.
- Demonstrates knowledge of leadership principles and management skills. Communicates effectively. Maintains knowledge of national, international, local and AdventHealth trends in nursing practice. Promotes continuous improvement to international nurse training program. Collaborates to implement change.
- Integrates published research and current literature to develop and implement learning activities. Contributes to the research process and participates in hospital based research. Provides learning opportunities that enable nurses to utilize research findings in practice.
- Participates in recruitment activities.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or Education
- 3-5 years of hospital experience in designated clinical specialty area
- 3-5 years of recent experience teaching in academic or hospital based nursing programs.
- Extensive expertise in cultural diversity and cultural competency.
- Current registration with the Florida State Board of Nursing
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current AHA ACLS certification
- Maintains current U.S. travel documents, permitting international travel for recruitment purposes
- Knowledge of social networking and internet vehicles, preferred
- Experience in the recruitment of internationally educated nurses for the United States, preferred
