Blind Rehabilitation Specialist
The Blind Rehabilitation Specialist located at the Michael E. DeBakey VISOR Program provides care and services to enhance the quality of life for individuals with vision loss. The primary purpose of this position is to provide low vision and ADL evaluation and training for visually impaired Veterans and Service members. The VISOR Team includes the disciplines of low vision therapy, orientation and mobility, vision rehabilitation and computer/technology instruction. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
