Health Technician (Ophthalmology)
This position is located in the Surgical Service with the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. Ophthalmology Technicians in the Veterans Health Administration(VHA) support Ophthalmologists/Optometrist in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, follow-up care and patient counseling. The technician performs diagnostic procedures, assists during clinic-based surgical procedures, educates patients/legal representatives, and assists with the education of medical students.
