The 3 West RN manages the care of step-down patients, and acutely ill postoperative surgical, neurology, and medicine patient through collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and other health care providers. The RN coordinates and facilitates care to restore stability, minimizing complications, and achieve optimal patient outcomes within a dynamic, acute care environment. To accomplish this, the RN uses the Nursing Process to facilitate and coordinate care for patients.
