The Spinal Cord Injury RN provides care for patients who have sustained damage to the spinal cord throughout the continuum of their lifetime, which incorporates stabilization after injury, rehabilitation, unrelated medical/surgical conditions, health maintenance and long term follow-up of the injured individualized, as well as psychosocial support including the family of significant others.
